What I have done is list the Fall 2013 results first, where they apply, and the Spring 2014 results listed second.
The formula that I used for both is as follows:
We swam 66 lengths/33 laps in a 25 yard pool. I subtracted 4.5 seconds per lap, minus 2, for 31 x 4.5 = 219.50 seconds. I took the total time and subtracted 2:19 from each "raw" time. I understand there are some "issues" with my formula....However, I think we can accurately estimate triathlon times in a range pretty accurately with my formula. We can discuss over this blog!
It would be great if everyone could give some more information:
What tempo did you swim at?
How many strokes per length did you average?
Ask any questions or make any comments you would like, in this blog! Thanks, Maria
